LAST DAYS OF OUR ERASMUS+ MEETING IN GETXO

We are very proud of the great work done during this unforgettable week.
We all knew that we would have to say goodbye, but it was hard! On Saturday, when we met at Loiu airport, everybody was sad. There were hugs and kisses and quite a few tears. In March we will be together again and there are already plans for future exchanges.

VISITING COMPANIES

These two days have been very busy for all the participants in our Erasmus + Project. We have learnt about a lot of different jobs and we have met young people who are working and have even created their own businesses. We have also become aware of the high rate of unemployment in Spain and in our city, Getxo. This presentation shows a little bit of what we have seen.

Getxo- Garbsen Meeting

All the participants of the Erasmus+ Project  have already started working hard.  Our German friends arrived at the weekend, they met our families, we showed them our city and we are all doing our best to get to know each other. In this presentation, you can see what we did on this first day at school.

ERASMUS + PROJECT

This year again, we are back with our European Projects. Now the European Programmes are called Erasmus +. Our topic for these two years is "Youth Employment" and we are going to work with our partners from the last two years. The schools in France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Hungary and Greece.

We began working in September. First, two teachers from school went to France and met their European colleagues. There, they agreed on details about how to carry out our project.
Then, in October, our students started their research to prepare their presentations for the first students' meeting, which is going to take place in November, from the 23rd to the 28th. We also had a parents' meeting on November  10th to inform about the project and the exchange.
Now everybody is really excited! The work is done, students are rehearsing their presentations, parents are preparing their homes... and both Basque and German students are thinking about wonderful plans and are looking forward to meeting each other.

In the following presentation you have some pictures showing the hard work and our great team.
